International Young Musicians Academy
-
The International Young Musicians Academy offers an unrivalled amount of one-to-one tuition, more than any competing course in the UK, and on top of this there will be masterclasses, informal concerts, supervised practice sessions and subject specific classes aimed at developing sight reading, analysis and ensemble playing.
The concept was developed by the two co-founders Jeremy Young (RNCM) & Ally He (Educate Study), to create an annual event that gave students an inspiring week to learn from the Master of Music.
Founded in 2017 and currently in its 3rd session, IYMA brings together world class musicians from around the UK to provide exceptional access to learn from the masters of music for students in one to one sessions, group session, performance training and competitor training set in historic Rugby School an All Steinway School.
- The International Young Musicians Academy at Rugby begins in July 2020 at one of the United Kingdom's most famous and historic schools. We bring together tutors from the Royal Colleges of Music alongside leading international musicians to provide an unrivalled level of one to one teaching in an intensive week of study.
Students will learn from some of the most experienced and highly respected tutors in England and will be able to develop their skills within Rugby School's state of the art Music Department. The school is situated within historic and beautiful city of Rugby and is the also where the great British sport was introduced to the World.
